There's a bit of an oddity with this leadership mess in that normally the [official] opposition would be calling for a general election, which of course they can't do as they themselves would get trounced were it to happen. Anyway and as ever, #FuckTheTories.

Watching a former cabinet minister, knight of the realm and, now apparently Reform party spokesman Sir Jake Berry on #Newsnight doing his damndest to spout Trump talking points and to not to criticise him under any circumstances. Not dignified, I thought…. And then remembered that whole generation of Tories did the same routine defending Johnson’s lies too. Fuck the lot of them.
