I also find it weird and disturbing how we’ve normalized over working and “workaholics”
Like I know people that want as much overtime as they can get ( because they’re broke and shit is to expensive )

A journalist was asking them why and you know what they said? That the government wants our babies. It took me a minute to understand what they were talking about but if you think about it; we send our children to school for how many hours a day? While we’re working how many hours a week? They want us to send our children off to work at age 18 or worse to go fight their wars for them…
In Iran I guess you go home for lunch and everyone eats together as a family, you only work like 20 hours a week or something and to them family time is so important it goes above anything and everything else. That’s why he said they want our children because we spend all our time at work while others are raising our children and that’s just something that stuck with me.
