I also find it weird and disturbing how we’ve normalized over working and “workaholics”
Like I know people that want as much overtime as they can get ( because they’re broke and shit is to expensive )

( this is literal brainwashing btw )I wish I still had a link to it but a few weeks ago I saw an interview with this Iranian dude that left the US to go back and live in Iran. A journalist was asking them why and you know what they said? That the government wants our babies. It took me a minute to understand what they were talking about but if you think about it; we send our children to school for how many hours a day? While we’re working how many hours a week? They want us to send our children off to work at age 18 or worse to go fight their wars for them…
In Iran I guess you go home for lunch and everyone eats together as a family, you only work like 20 hours a week or something and to them family time is so important it goes above anything and everything else. That’s why he said they want our children because we spend all our time at work while others are raising our children and that’s just something that stuck with me.

It is so stupid and crazy how normalized the wage gap is.
I just sat next to someone that had a bag of clothes worth as much as my yearly salary. No not spending money i am talking salary. They spend that in a day and had the bag just casually standing next to me.I dont earn little which makes this 10 times worse.
