One item _not_ mentioned here is that the new Iranian agency you're supposed to talk to in order to go through the strait is now sanctioned by the US, which means if you talk to them you break sanctions, but if you _don't_ talk to them you might come under fire. It's a no-win situation for huge numbers of shippers.
