If that woman dies, the officer should be charged with manslaughter. Especially as he may have caused her head trauma during the arrest.
This guy definitely thought he was saving the day. In truth, he was engaging in abuse and made it clear to the public that he poses a threat for as long as he's an officer.

There was a karen who got the police on us and such karen gave the "this is not going to stand in our community" look while they took a couple photos
The following interaction with the police ensued:
Police officer: "Sorry but I have to ask you to leave."
Partner: "Can I ask why?"
Police officer: "You're being asked to move because the owner of the property doesn't want you here, they said you're living out of this vehicle?"
Partner: "What's wrong with living out of a vehicle?"
Police officer: "I'm just doing my job, you were reported as suspicious."
Partner: "Define suspicious. Is it suspicious to live out of a vehicle?"
Police officer: "Their words, not mine. They said you're not normal."
Partner: "Is it suspicious to not be normal?"
Police officer, clearly exasperated that my partner has a point: "Look, this is a privately owned lot and I am just doing what I have to do. When this goes" *prods radio* "I respond. We need you to leave please."
Partner: "Alright, we were planning to leave today anyway. Can you suggest where to?"
Police officer: "Well, there's this truckstop just along the road..."(We've already been there)
Also the parking lot had 48 hour parking limit signs around it. We had been there less than that.

@3wombats - I was a palliative care nurse for 15 years, and I can't count the number of times I dealt with confused, aggressive, and dangerous patients without nearly murdering them.
And literally on more occasions than I remember were those patients threatening me with a knife or other dangerous sharp.
I've always been able to talk them down with patience and compassion, and never had to resort to violence.
The whole "scared for safety" excuse is such utter bullshit. Especially when dealing with an elderly person who is just unwell and terrified.
Fuck those cops, and fuck whoever called them in the first place.
