Me: I know & that's why I smiled & gave them the finger. You forgot that I chained myself to front doors of RBC downtown, shut it down for 4 hours & told cops that I don't want their taxpayers funded sandwiches when I have gourmet Asian foods daily & they're probably jealous they don't eat as well. I don't care what shitty banks think about me & my actions. Fuck em.

Years ago we banked with a building society. Great service, lots of branches. They merged with another. Still good. They became a bank. Service declined. Closures. Acquired by Westpac, but remained "independent". 🤔 Remaining branches were soon shared with Westpac (ie, closed). ATMs all replaced with ones that charge. Now my bank's logo has largely disappeared, service, minimal though it is, is shithouse.
Enshittification has been achieved.
