Liker egentlig veldig godt nye Affinity. Spesielt Publisher-delen. Det at det finnes et skikkelig bra gratis InDesign-alternativ er egentlig helt rått!
Tenkte egentlig at jeg ikke kom til å like at alt nå er samlet, men tok feil. Det var jo uansett sånn semi-samlet med personas-systemet, og det å gå all in funker bedre ser jeg nå

Pour le moment, je m’arrête là. A chaque fois, la 1ere solution proposée est celle que j’utilise. Il en existe d’autres. J’ai pas réponse à tout. Et rien n’est parfait.
De manière générale, préférez un logiciel et non une web-app, ça garanti à minima la sauvegarde en local chez vous, et pas dans un serveur us. Ou alors de l’open source !

You know what, fuck you, Adobe. They made it super hard to keep using Lightroom 6 after they switched to subscriptions, but I managed to work through that, but now I finally can't use it anymore. I mean - I jumped through all the hoops to install it, but when I try to open it I need to log in and accept the license, then that window closes and nothing else ever happens. No support for discontinued products, so no one you could ask.

#adobe the company that makes shit software that we all have to use as the "industry standard" well I have been online trying to get support to allow me to buy more "ai credits" for close to 20 minutes now. Because you know all that money can't go into r&d or customer support but into the ceos pockets.
Like what the actual fuck I'm trying to pay you more money .

Don't touch Adobe software. Early cancelation fees for a monthly subscription are just the latest example of scumfoolery.

Påminnelse om mulige alternativer til å infisere pc og livet sitt med Adobe.
Kan fortsatt anbefale Affinity-pakken som alternativ for PS, InDesign og Illustrator. Krysser bare fingrene for at man ikke snart må lage en tilsvarende post for Canva (som nå eier Affinity)

Upgraded recently and made my first document in Affinity Publisher 2 yesterday - pretty intuitive so far!

For the time being I still love what Affinity Designer can do, and switching between Raster and Vector modes is such a time saver for colouring/lettering.
But I feel like with the takeover from Canva it's only a matter of time before we lose something...
In the meantime I'm eager to try Scribus as an open source publishing tool. I've read good things (once you get past the horrid 90's interface).

A few days ago I finally made the decision to switch from Photoshop to Krita before my Adobe sub is being renewed. I don't regret the decision in itself but I really underestimated the work of importing all the brushes I made myself and even more all the brushes I bought. I'm happy we can import the brush tips easily, but recreating the brush settings is more work than expected, and by now time is running out. :artsweats:
Maybe I should just make hundreds of screenshots.

@JoeGrowling After 30 years of Adobe’s cynical treatment of its users, I’ve begun to lose hope there will ever be any alternative. They’ve never, not once in their corporate history, concentrated on stability or UX even. And I will never forgive them for being all like, “Fuck you Mac losers, we can sell more crap on Windows” in the late 90s.
It’s either new features, making shit like Pantone a paid service, or peeling off stuff like PS Type 1 fonts. #FuckAdobe.
