Not sure what happened to yesterday, other than I spent an inordinate of time spending a gift certificate to Guitar Center, another to Amazon (also on music stuff), and going down way too many rabbit holes about things like the winding lengths of #Bass strings.

Need to get some ish done today but I woke up to slightly #FrozenPipes, as did a third of the country, I'm sure. So let's see if I can shake this small voice telling me to stay on the couch and waste another day on music YouTube...

We had a minor victory just before Christmas; the pipe feeding the washer froze and we successfully thawed it. It's a longer term problem, though, as that pipe is on an exterior wall and it's not something one can just "let drip" during the coldest days.

Frank uncoupled the washer hose and hooked up the garden hose to the water supply so that we can drip it into the nearest sink.
