It's been almost ten years since we moved into our current house and I wasn't able to find my small but beloved collection of #graphicnovels. Began to think it had somehow got lost in the move. Finished #reading #KissMeJudas (Graphic Novel) by #WillChristopherBaer.
This is the graphic novel adapted from the screenplay & sticks pretty closely to the source, with some condensing & a slightly modified ending.
Illustrations are deliberately sparse (think #EddieCampbell with #AlanMoore on #FromHell) & it suits the tone. The writing captures the unhinged, hallucinogenic mood of the novel. & so, whilst this recommended, first read the novel. You’ll thank me.
