Another YouTuber who really digs deep is Dr Kat and her channel Reading the Past.
She delves into all sorts of topics from art to fashion to mass executions and makes it all easily accessible and interesting.
She also does a monthly history news roundup covering news and events from recent archeological discoveries to the status of contested ancient artifacts - along with history and museum events across the globe.
I just finished listening to her latest episode about Elizabeth I and her decisions regarding the religious life in her realm - which was in direct reply to a question from a viewer.

A couple of days ago I had an idea to share some of our favorite podcasts, TV shows, YouTube channels, etc that other people with similar interests might also enjoy.
I thought we could start with the one we were discussing #TrueCrime.
If you have something to share that you feel someone else might like, please feel free to jump in!
I'm going to start with the YouTube channel I spoke of then - They Got Away with Murder. Mark specializes in #Vintage true crime and sometimes includes his own artwork along with pictures of the parties involved when available. He treats the victims with kindness while injecting humor when appropriate.
My personal favorite is Death in Belgravia: What Became of Lord Lucan. I'm looking forward to seeing what others have to think and the gems they share.
