[EN] The reimagined “Planet of the Apes” started in 2011 with “The Rise of the Planet of the Apes” is, in my opinion, one of the most successful film reboots ever. The whole trilogy is wonderful and its conclusion, “The War for the Planet of the Apes”, is one of my favourite movies ever, as well as the perfect finale to the apes’ story. For this reason, I was a bit sceptical about the sequel and the beginning of the new trilogy, “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes”. But the trailer looks really decent and the cast, which includes Owen Teague (who was superb in “Bloodline”), Freya Allen (Ciri from “The Witcher”) and Kevin Durand (do you remember his Keamy from “Lost”?) make me hopeful for a decent production. Are you waiting for this one?

Rozpoczęta w 2011 roku reinterpretacja „Planety małp” to chyba jeden z najbardziej udanych powrotów do dużych filmowych serii. Cała trylogia jest fantastyczna, a wieńcząca ją „Wojna o planetę małp” to jeden z moich ulubionych filmów i idealne zakończenie snutej przez trzy obrazy historii. Dlatego do kontynuacji i planowanego początku kolejnej trylogii, którym ma być „Królestwo planety małp”, podchodziłem do tej pory sceptycznie. Ale zwiastun w gruncie rzeczy wygląda całkiem nieźle, a i obsada, w której między innymi Owen Teague (wyśmienita rola w „Bloodline”) Freya Allen (Ciri z „Wiedźmina”) i Kevin Durand (któż nie pamięta jego Keamy’ego z „Zagubionych”?), napawa nadzieją. Czekacie?
