Found a copy of the Song of Roland at my local used bookstore. Cheap and much shorter than Outlaws of the Marsh.

I like how this 1970 translation has to note that Carcassonne is a city in southern France, like it’s obscure and unknown. I guess the board game wasn’t popular yet. (Or existed.)

Je continue à lire Jules Verne en français. Ses Romans sont tres différents dans sa langue originale.

Pour example, dans les traductions j'ai connu quand jeune, toutes les sections qui étais contre le impérialisme britannique été eu coupe.

Dans Les Enfants du Capitaine Grant, il à meme demandé pour l'Écosse etre libéré du tyrannie britannique !

Les vieux traductions de son œuvre manques ces points.
