All these things feel a bit "hacky" if you will and I almost wish mainstream companies would have an app freeze function like google, apple, Samsung etc

At least let everyone freeze an app for 2, 4, or 8 hours at a time or something like that.

There are apps on the app store that have the abilities and then there's that shizuku manager which supposedly helps people without root. I'm not against learning that a bit, but, just trying to understand it all
