  1. I don’t know what is going on with SBS viceland but they’ve just finished showing The Fifth Element & it’s started again & looking at the guide it’s going to be shown another 4 times, one after the other 😂. #SBS #Freeview.

  2. Ah.. a rare piece of ‘informative’ and ‘facts-based reporting from the #ABC. This article sheds quite a few flood-lights on the #migration political debate and calls out recent #LNP talking points for what they are… so much #racist BS. It is a well written piece by Gareth Hutchens based on historical facts and a recent #research paper from ANU (with a link to it).

Well worth the read, especially if you need facts to inform family members caught in the #propaganda fed to us by #msm and #freeview TV channels (also no small a number of social media ‘trolls’).

“The paper says Coalition governments have contributed "significantly more than Labor governments" to increasing temporary immigration levels in Australia over the past quarter of a century.” Though, it must be said, largely with bi-partisan support.

  5. Ok, so #Humax is in the bin.

    I'm after a #freeview #pvr - does anyone have any recommendations.

Would be nice to have iplayer/itvx etc - not a requirement, have a firestick too.
  6. Just read about Freely, the supposed future of Freeview, the free to air (via an aerial) live TV service in the UK. Freely will be IP based so live TV and on demand via broadband. Live TV still seems a slightly odd concept in this context (but it will be just that) and an aerial or satellite dish (for Freesat) currently comes with no other costs other than a TV licence whereas fast broadband costs extra and is variable depending on location.
    Time marches on eh. #UK #TV #Freeview #Freely #IPTV
