In just 100 years, 4 different dictators got in power in #Venezuela and that's a symptom of our short, irresponsible memory; as well as our fragile identity (which by now is ashes):

1 - Cipriano Castro (1899 to 1908), nationalist.
2 - Juan Gómez, who betrayed the one above (1908 to 1935. 27 years) and "discovered" oil.
3 - Pérez Jiménez (1952 to 1958), an openly fascist, racist, Eurocentric dictator.
4 - Chávez, his successor Maduro, and the successor of his (Rodríguez) who just like Gómez have been in power for 27 years.

For me, this regime is the worst among the 4, but for somebody who lived during another one then theirs might have been the worst.

No matter the color on the political spectrum: all dictators suck, all regimes are abominable, and just like 70 years ago, 98 years ago, or 120 years ago... I want freedom today.
