@[email protected] I finished the Devon jeans jacket from @freesewing! The pattern comes from @woutervw.
It's not without faults, you can see I've had to shorten the yoke significantly to fix the shoulder width, and I suspect measuring my height has also not gone completely well—it's a bit on the short side. But I still think it looks great.

@[email protected] More progress. Setting the sleeves was actually not that hard... But this was hard: realising the measuring had apparently gone wrong, and my shoulder-to-shoulder width was set to 50cm when it should've been 42cm 🥲
I had to shorten the yoke significantly. It's still a little bit too big, but we'll call that a relaxed fit.
All part of learning, but I am sad that this is now really not the "actual" pattern anymore.

More progress, I've now made one sleeve with a cuff! That was also a bit of a hassle. I've actually started a thread with feedback on the pattern on the Freesewing forums that's becoming a little bit meaty 🙈 https://forum.freesewing.eu/t/small-devon-issues/1080/9
I'm feeling a bit bad about that... A lot of it's probably just my inexperience.
The last step before adding buttons is the waistband, so it'll look less like a matador jacket soon.

@[email protected] I struggled with the collar... a lot. But it's in, and I've learned something. So that's good then. I only had to re-cut one collar part. 🙈
I also closed the side seams, so now it's starting to look like an actual jacket!

@[email protected] Exciting news! My #DevonJeansJacket from @freesewing now has functional pocketses! And the side parts are attached to the back part!
I'm starting to be able to see what the final thing is going to look like. I think the wool works swimmingly.

@freesewing Speaking of #mascot #plushies—there's this ancient website for a #Tux #plushie: https://free-penguin.org
Does anyone who "gets" open source licenses know if one could just take this pattern and adjust it to work on #FreeSewing? Would be nice to have FS's more advanced pattern editor with this pattern.

2. Hai fertig 🎉 Größer ist tatsächlich einfacher. Der neue Stoff fusselt stark beim Schneiden und für die Zähne habe ich noch keine gute Methode gefunden 😅

the npm package is 'freesewing-baby' and it's published at https://github.com/raphaelsiz/freesewing-baby as an alpha release. this is because it *seems* like it should work so far, but I need to test actual garments.
feel free to use it if you're willing to take a risk, and please let me know if anything needs changing!
