@ewos1986 @ct_Magazin Windows 11 ist auch anders als Windows 10. Muss man sich auch umgewöhnen. Warum dann nicht direkt ein sicheres OS.

Und #FreeOffice von Softmaker und #OnlyOfffice kommen der Bedienbarkeit einem MS-Office sehr nah, dank Ribben-Design. LibreOffice hat noch das klassische Menü-Design. Auch die Kompatibilität von allen Office-Produkten unter einander ist sehr gut.

SoftMaker FreeOffice 2024 Released

A new version of FreeOffice has been released. FreeOffice 2024 is a free (as in beer) version based on SoftMaker Office 2024, a commercial, cross-platform office suite. Any users of SoftMaker Office reading this needn’t feel short-changed: the free version comes with fewer features. The 3 core components in FreeOffice (TextMaker, PlanMaker, and Presentations) are also included in SoftMaker Office, and SoftMaker Office NX (a newer, subscription-based offering with AI integrations) but not all features are shared between them. However, all of the essentials one would need are present. What’s missing are the gimmicky end of things, e.g., AI/ML writing/translation, :sys_more_orange:

SoftMaker FreeOffice 2021 Has Arrived, Viable Alternative to LibreOffice

Softmaker FreeOffice 2021 is now available to download. As with previous versions of this free (but not open source) alternative to Microsoft Office, the full suite of apps is available across Windows, macOS, and Linux with no feature limitations or patchy coverage. While SoftMaker says this is a “completely revised version” that is “seamlessly compatible with Microsoft Office” file formats, both new and old, it’s hard to know what’s new in FreeOffice 2021 specifically as there’s no official change-log. That said, SoftMaker do mention a couple of highlights — just don’t expect most of the features from last year’s commercial :sys_more_orange:
