@vagrantc it is a common misconception about free/libre software licenses that they are "unenforceable".
It may look like so if you solely look at the amount of _jurisprudence_ about them, but by all means 90+% of known licensing problems are precisely solved without the costly need for legal action/procedure/etc.
Often, naming and shaming and the threat of a procedure likely to be won (by licensor) are more than enough to get actors to comply, esp. when compliance is so cheap. (1/ read the license -again? 2/ publish the code 3/ don't do it again)
#freelibre licenses are more effective _because_ they are social contracts avoiding courts.

I'm excited to see more people join the process to build up the Democratic Tech Fund. Many of us are fed up by the @DigitalCoup, and we know that there are so many communities already working on bits and pieces of the solution.
We need to do this #bottomup, based on solidarity and commons economics and organising. Let's weave the tech communities with the social movements and the social and solidarity economy. Together we can do this.

Well, now I can say I'm on Molly. (Actually Molly-FOSS. It's a more secure client for Signal.) Too many other commitments currently, but it would be fun to start up a local free-libre software users group that could explore and promote alternatives. I wonder if there's any kind of meet-up for this around here.

MIxxx is one of my favourite pieces of Free/Libre software!
A wonderful mixing/DJing software, feature-packed, super robust, thought by and for music lovers.
Been using it at its inception, exactly 20 (arg!) years ago.. didn't follow for years and was SO impressed by the progress! #Mixxx is Such an inspiring piece of love+software! <3
(ofc. i dont know nothing about the proprietary alternatives, i assume they work well too.. don't really care ;)

Looking for a #FreeLibre #font to #weave .
Not caps only, but a clear font, with some "body" and it can handle some pixelisation. It will be machine woven.
