    A prominent byline
    A link to my website.

I look forward to working with you.

  3. On this #PrimoMaggio #FestaDeiLavoratori, I wish to celebrate my #FreeLabour for #HigherEducation and #CriticalThinking:

I earn less than £100 a year since it was published #OpenAccess in 2022, yet it has many (inter)national citations and took me 10 years to conceive, research, & publish - that was my choice, but also my ideology and contribution to decolonising academic communication

  4. Amongst the many consequences of #AcademicPrecarity are the effects on academic planning:

expert talks & invited speakers may no longer be available due to contract terminations and overall #GoodWill simply running out of steam, the same good will that so much of #academia relies on.

I speak from a position of relative current privilege and from very many years of being on #FixedTermContracts - there is a heck of a lot of #FreeLabour in academia, permanent or not.
