"Thank Heaven for Little Girls" is a 1957 song written by #AlanJayLerner and #FrederickLoewe and associated with #MauriceChevalier, its original performer. It opened and closed the 1958 film #Gigi. #AlfredDrake performed the song in the 1973 Broadway stage production of Gigi, and in the 2015 revival, it was sung as a duet between #VictoriaClark and #DeeHoty. The Chevalier version is often regarded as the definitive version of the song; he recorded it in 1958. In 2004.
