Some ripe Bilberries (Vaccinium myrtillus) or "Fraochán" as they are called in Irish. Usually ripe by the end of July, the recent spell of warm weather means that some are ready early. When I was younger we called them heatherberries as we found them amongst the heather on the hills. County Clare, Ireland.
