CW: #FrankenNAS progress report, ft. feature creep
Progress report:
- Tore apart #FrankenNAS so I could redo the wiring and slot the new drives in
- Panic as I realize I don't have enough SATA cables somehow
- Remember that I have a bunch of disconnected SATA cables in my #gamingrig after consolidating several old drives
- Completely tear that apart to redo that wiring as the case has been open for a couple months after consolidating aforementioned drives. #featurecreep
- Finish rebuilding the desktop and free up several SATA cables. Power desktop on, it still boots!
- Finish rebuilding FrankenNAS.
And then as I was about to power it on I got called away, so yay now I get to be anxious about that until tomorrow π
