  1. "dancing people in a computer room" 🧵

  2. Now, you might ask: if this was a "good" result and it's full of errors, what does a bad result look like? The github page for #FramePack showed women dancing, so I tried a picture of a pony dancing in the rain. Specifically Celestia with her big wings and flowing mane. Here's the source image: derpibooru.org/192426?q=Celest 5/6

  3. For starters #framepack works with a seed image, so I can credit the original artist for that. I like that. It's less thefty. I will only be showing animations generated from images I can source, but I must commit another Mastodon fuax pas because one of the best little animations I was able to get comes from an image that was originally posted on Twitter. 2/6

  4. I played around with #FramePack, which is an #AI video generator that can run locally. I didn't think we were to the point where video generation could run on a single gaming PC, but we are apparently. It takes about 5 minutes per second of 25fps video on my 4070 Ti Super, and the results are better than I expected...occasionally. Now I'm going to commit a Mastodon faux pas by showing some of what it generated. 1/6

  5. 🎥🤖 "FramePack" is apparently the messiah of video generation, promising mind-blowing cinematic experiences on your basic consumer GPU, all while you sip your latte and wait for your #VRAM to catch fire. With 99 whole users, it's basically a household name. 🌟✨
