@joel #FortAugustus is really nice, if you're moderately fit and good on foot make sure to go to #Foyers falls as well. It is also a nice walk/hike all the way down to #LochNess. -
@AeonMach @jbenjamint I’d agree with you about not pinning our hopes on #hydrogen. But I used to live in the Gt Glen and saw the scale of environmental damage done by early pumped storage schemes - #LochNess/#LochMhor at #Foyers. But not only the early ones! The #GlenDoe scheme above #FtAugustus flooded a massive basin of #peatland supporting. good breeding populations of rare waders …dunlin, golden plover & greenshank… in the #Monadhliath
