I told myself I'm done with buying inks but after almost 4 years, I broke my rule this week during my trip in Taiwan.
I just wanted to buy something for myself and after 10 years of fountain pen habit, I still gravitated toward stationery stores to find that "something".
So it had to be blue-black inks. Because everytime I bought any other colour, I never use it after one session of inking. These are the 3 Taiwan-made inks I picked from the swatch book. Here's hoping I won't regret the purchase!

The Lamy Ink "Mango" is so unpopular that they are now giving away the jars they have left to anyone who orders a fountain pen directly from them! (It had been cheaper than the other colours for quite a while already. -

Well, this is four more #pens cleaned/flushed. Guess what this means? Tomorrow I'll be re-inking some #fountainpens. One of them will have the newest ink I've just picked up.
Writing with fountain pens is so much better than #writingandai - it's genuine.

I have only unboxed it, I haven't flushed it and/or done an ink fill on it yet. That will be happening soon. I'll post a writing sample once I've filled it... I also have a new to me ink that I'm going to be trying soon (I'm really looking forward to this one).

I don’t generally need any sort of #inkcouraging (😉) but @VVitchtoria shared two Diamine #fountainpeninks that had previously escaped my notice: Sugar Snap and Alpine. Loved them. So bought them both. Except I didn’t. I posted Sugar Snap yesterday. This Is Alpine. Or Astral to give it the name of the one I actually bought. It’s a chameleon ink which I think looks very dark green today. Alpine will need to wait until next pay day 😂

I really like the Pelikan Edelstein Apricot Achat ink sample I received today! Although I guess it may be a bit too light for some.
I'll try to take pictures of writing samples tomorrow, under sunlight, but does anyone have tips on how to take pictures of this?

裏抜けしないMD用紙なので万年筆を使っているのですが、なぜかこの Kaweco Classic Sport Mニブ x Diamine Oxford Blue（大好きなブルー）インクの組み合わせだと、やや太字になってしまうんです。
同じMニブでも、Kaweco Art Sport と他のインクの組み合わせではもっと細く書けるのに。インクの性質の違い？ニブだけ交換してみようかな。I started this Midori 5-year diary on Nov 1 last year. It’s only 4 lines a day, so I’ve managed to keep it up so far :tony_wee:
The MD paper is great and doesn’t bleed through, so I use a fountain pen.
But this Kaweco Classic Sport (M nib) with Diamine Oxford Blue (my favourite blue!) writes thicker than I expected.
My Kaweco Art Sport (M nib) and a different ink combo writes much finer on the same paper. Maybe it’s the ink? Should I try a different nib?

The Lamy Safari needs no review since seemingly everyone has one. I dislike the Safari's design and think of it as overrated, but this one looks kinda cool. (I may not like them, Minister, but I can't deny: this Safari's got style!) As for the ink, it is Diamine Forever Passion Flower and is a near-perfect match for the pen. It is the first ink outside the Noodler's line that I plan to keep in regular rotation. #FountainPen #FountainPens #HarryPotter #FountainPenInk #FountainPenInks #Lamy

Last #SwatchWednesday of the year with the last Cult Ink Subscription box (RIP). Sadly, half of this month were dupes.
I've also completed the Cult Iridescink set after getting an email asking for a swatch of Becky. Not sure why I hadn't picked these up sooner, but I'm liking Becky a lot.
