I watched this film tonight. It was pretty creepy even though I figured out what was going on fairly early. Would recommend for fans of folk horror and found footage movies.

Paramount a confirmé la préparation d’un huitième film Paranormal Activity, annoncé comme un projet stratégique et prioritaire pour le studio. Après plusieurs productions, dont la dernière fut diffusée directement en streaming en 2021, ce nouveau chapitre retrouvera le chemin des salles obscures. La production bénéficie aujourd’hui d’un partenariat entre Blumhouse et Atomic Monster, désormais réunies sous une même entité.

Jason Blum, fondateur de Blumhouse, ainsi qu’Oren Peli, créateur du film originel, font également partie de la production. Aujourd’hui, l’objectif déclaré par Blum est de revenir à l’esprit des débuts, tout en bénéficiant de plus grands moyens et d’une sortie pensée comme un véritable événement cinéma.
