As long as we’re writing up a post-FediCon blog post, @cassidy felt like we kind of *had* to at least introduce the term that the conference was named after. How did he do?

Check your credit cards.
Perhaps it's just good luck but I've had a 12 year streak of _not_ having my credit card compromised. That came to an end suspiciously in line with the end of FOSSY. I had to use my hard-card a few times (unusually) on this trip and... oops? Hit with $5K of flights and other random, transactions in BC.
Could be coincidental, but could be more. My credit card co is, of course, going to cover the fraud, hopefully yours will too.

Fossy is more focused on general FOSS and a LOT of folks there didn't know what the Fediverse was or how to use it. Hoping to start work on a "The Fediverse Is..." presentation that I can hopefully give next year.
The amazing @[email protected] suggested us having a Fedi related booth. We can help folks onboard with QR codes, answer questions, have starter packs, etc.
And thank you to @[email protected] for excellent advice on presenting and speaking.
