The latter entails adapting to the #effects of #Climatechange, rather than doing anything to prevent further climate change. If people haven't understood THAT, they've understood NOTHING!

Oil demand is falling more than expected, partly due to record fuel prices. World oil demand will drop by 2.5 million bpd this year, the @iea.org said, more than its previous forecast of a 1.6 million bpd decline.
However, supply is expected to decrease even faster (hence the shortage), and demand is expected to rebound by practically the same amount next year.
