  1. Got an email announcing #FOSS4GNA for 2025, or maybe 2026? Did not see the location in the *text* and clicked on the link to find it's on the left coast.

Then I noticed the city and state in the *image*, all curled up and hiding at the bottom of the circle.

  2. Struggling to wrangle raster data? Learn how cloud-native raster-data formats can help you analyze your data quicker and easier by attending a workshop led by sponsor Element84: bit.ly/foss4gna2025

  3. Tickets are running out fast for our workshop on vector tiles with GeoSolutions. Get your tickets before they’re gone! bit.ly/foss4gna2025

  4. I would have enjoyed more time at the #FOSS4GNA conference this week, except we planned a NOLA getaway via train, where we hope to meet up with #SAPCommunity peeps there for the ASUG post tech ed in person conference.
    #Tuscaloosa

  5. Blarg. Was initially excited about setting up for the #FOSS4GNA #GeoNode workshop, but am consistently running into issues with Docker. I mean, at least the problems are consistent, I guess? Just can't seem to figure out the root cause.

  6. Really looking forward to being at #FOSS4GNA next week! I’ll be presenting on how we use #QGIS etc. for landscape design and planning. (regenerativedesigngroup.com)

  7. A Baltimore "Historic" #Trails map for the #FOSS4GNA conference, to orient nonresidents. Trail 1 goes from Patterson Park "ova east" straight into downtown, then hooks around to Fort Avenue heading for the national "shrine" of Fort McHenry. A 5-mile hike, one way, though you need to put thought into returning from whence you came (I did it by bus in 2010).
The numbers correspond to #Panoramio imagery, now reachable via thank you, archive.org.

  8. Right... #FOSS4GNL is done (well, apart from financial admin). Loved it, people were happy. Now let's start preparing for #FOSS4GNA. Just one talk and no orga tasks, this will be heaven!

  9. The response from #Esri support contained 5 "workarounds" for their web adaptor not doing the only job it exists to do.

    None have worked.

The web adaptor has gone down 32 times in 24 hours under modest loads.

Still using #ArcGIS Enterprise as best we can in spite of sporadic blips in connectivity, but alternatives are actively being investigated.

    Can't wait for #FOSS4GNA to attend the #GeoNode / #GeoServer sessions!
