Elon Musk says he's serious about launching his America Party, but so far, it's mostly talk. But according to @AxiosNews, he isn't on his own: He's fielding offers for help from the Libertarian Party, several consultants, and former Democrat, Forward Party founder Andrew Yang. @emmettoconnell I really hope Chris Vance can get more supportive of #RankedChoiceVoting in WA and so that the #ForwardParty #fwd is not held back by vote splitting.
He is not there yet. As he says in the second op-ed, he thinks structural changes to elections are not needed.
Why would he not embrace every possible tool possible?

Yes, I remember when the republican platform was a flat tax and smaller government. While I may disagree with those policies, it's a far fetch from fascism, wanting to terminate the constitution, and book banning. Our ability to socialize with reasonable people never changed.
