After I brought my Senate visitors to UAlberta, I took them to Fort Edmonton for a tour of the Indigenous Peoples Experience - and then to visit kihcihkaw aski, or Sacred Lands, the Indigenous ceremonies site across Fox Drive from the Fort. It made for an extraordinary afternoon, celebrating the beauty and resilience of First Nations and Métis culture. #Edmonton #yeg #FortEdmonton
