After visiting the arena & amphitheater, we spent the rest of the day at the adjacent Palatine Hill & Roman Forum. We left at closing time & had dinner nearby. We briefly viewed the Colosseum at night before returning to the W.

Venerdì sono stato ad un convegno sulle #costruzioni alla #CuriaIulia che è *dentro* al #foroRomano
L'evento è stato molto interessante, ma la chicca è stata alla fine perché ci hanno fatto fare un giro di notte nel Foro, senza turisti, ho fatto ovviamente un miliardo di foto e video 🤩
Che luogo pazzesco!
Vederlo di notte, in silenzio, camminare sul basolato dove hanno camminato personaggi illustri o anche imperatori, nella culla della civilità occidentale, fa veramente tanta impressione! -
