يقدم الإصدار الجديد من تطبيق ForkLift 4.7.3 تحسينات جوهرية تجعل تجربة الاستخدام أكثر سلاسة وشبهاً بنظام macOS الأصلي. حيث بات بإمكان المستخدمين التنقل بسهولة بين الصفوف وتحديد مجموعة عناصر في وضع عرض الأيقونات، بالإضافة إلى إمكانية اختيار عدة ملفات عبر الصفوف باستخدام النقر مع زر Shift. كما أصبحت عملية تحديد العناصر عبر السحب تشبه بشكل كبير تطبيق Finder، مع إضافة دعم مفتاحي Home و End والتركيز الشديد على تعزيز استقرار البرنامج.

أطلق برنامج ForkLift تحديثه الجديد رقم 4.7.1 لنظام التشغيل macOS، والذي يقدم تحسينات بارزة تشمل إمكانية إعادة تسمية الملفات المتعددة باستخدام البيانات الوصفية للصور والفيديو والمستندات تلقائياً. كما يعرض التحديث أسماء مشاركات SMB مثل Finder تماماً، ويدعم معاينة صيغ فيديو إضافية عبر تطبيق QuickLook. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، يعالج هذا الإصدار الجديد عدة أخطاء برمجية، مثل مشكلات الانهيار أثناء المزامنة، ويحسن التوافقية مع نظام التشغيل القادم macOS 27.

We share laughs during & after watching. Then, he tells me that the guy got fired from his warehouse/forklifting job after HR found out that he made a funny ass music video while at work.

أطلق تطبيق ForkLift تحديثه 4.6.4، الذي يعزز تجربة التنقل بين الملفات بشكل كبير. أصبح Quick Select يدعم الآن الأحرف المشددة، مما يسهل البحث عن الملفات ذات الأسماء غير الإنجليزية. كما باتت ميزة "الانتقال إلى المجلد" تتعرف على الأسماء المستعارة والروابط الرمزية، موفرةً مرونة أكبر في استكشاف النظام. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، يضيف التحديث تحذيراً قبل حذف سمة في الإعدادات، ويعالج العديد من الأخطاء عبر الواجهة لتحسين الأداء العام.

أصدرت شركة BinaryNights تحديثاً جديداً لبرنامج ForkLift 4.6.2 يهدف إلى تحسين استقرار الأداء على نظام تشغيل macOS Sequoia عبر تعطيل واجهة معاينة الأيقونات التي سببت مشكلات تقنية. يتضمن التحديث تحسينات في نافذة التحقق من الملفات تتيح اختيار عناصر متعددة وتصدير النتائج بتنسيق CSV. كما يدعم التحديث الجديد مزامنة التعليقات مع تطبيق Finder وإدارة الوسوم على الأقراص الخارجية، مما يوفر تجربة إدارة ملفات أكثر تكاملاً وسلاسة لمستخدمي أجهزة آبل ماك حالياً.

3.5 hours driving a #forklift in reverse has given me an awful case of motion sickness. 40’ container empty. 16 trips of 350 meters from container to our warehouse. It works out to 12km travelled, half of it with me craning my head over my left shoulder cross eyed.

@NotYours I’ve been using forker without even reflecting on it so I voted that way - as of 10 votes though- it’s. 50/50 for/against. I only saw the succession for Forkizens after voting and have to admit it’s got a nice ring to it. Any other good suggestions?
Anyway, I’m giving this poll a #forklift and Hope to see more opinions.

@ezri the wider fediverse (or maybe specifically Mastadon?) seems to call them “toots” which is pretty horrible.
“Forks” is about as good a suggestion as any I’ve seen. “Bites” could work maybe? I don’t know…
What I do know is that we should call a re-post a #forklift
It was someone else’s idea but I may single-handedly campaigning for it thus far and am the only one to use the hashtag yet as far as I can tell.

However…. I have seen a few of the darker elements of social media peak through - a short lived endorphin rush at a notification, follow or #forklift, a few minutes lost to doom scrolling, a brief luxuriation in outrage.
Let’s stay aware of what we’re doing here in the #forkiverse and use intentionality to keep it positive.

Does anyone know a GUI application for Mac that can download and regularly synchronize a large (50GB) Google Cloud Storage or AWS S3 bucket?
I tried ForkLift which was not even able to connect, and Transmit does not seem to be suitable for large amounts of data (can't tell if its progress bars are crap or it has stalled).

I just switched from Transmit to ForkLift recently after the latter changed their SSH implementation from libssh2 to OpenSSH, making use of the default SSH configuration of your user.
