. @seckenst und ich haben heute auf der #FORGE2023 unseren Vorschlag für eine offene, auf #Wikidata aufsetzende Tool Registry für die #DigitalHumanities vorgestellt. Der Vorschlag argumentiert, dass wir die Frage "was brauchen *wir*?" mit den Antworten auf die Frage "was haben *wir* zuhanden?" in Einklang bringen müssen, wenn wir die von @quinnanya als DiRT-Trap beschriebenen Fehler nicht wiederholen wollen.

Also really enjoyed the provenance (data) in colonial contexts workshop this morning. Excited to see work done on actual structured data implementation (i.e. on level of ontology, not just labeling) from Romy Köhler ('Collections from Colonial Contexts'-Portal in DDB), and to learn more about the Proveana project from Deutsches Zentrum Kulturgutverluste. NFDI and TIB publications were cited in relation to #FAIR and #CARE data principles 😎 and we discussed further ways to collaborate ✨ esp. in relation to #LOD and structured authority data.

A brief trip to the pretty city Tübingen to take part in #FORGE2023 and present some of the @nfdi4culture services we are developing @tibosl, including https://nfdi4culture.de/services/details/semantic-kompakkt.html and https://nfdi4culture.de/services/details/annotation-terminology-lookup-and-personalization-antelope.html. Great to talk to DH researchers, archive and library system & infrastructure folks on potentials outside the parameters of our previous case studies. Lots of interest to engage more with NFDI services, but hint for us to make our infrastructure offers even more visible and available across a wide range of institutions.
