Sunday Funday Memory: When I was in 5th or 6th grade, our class went on a field trip. I don’t remember to where specifically, but I do remember the bus ride was fairly long.

During the ride, another girl asked to give me a palm reading and I was like, “Sure, fine. I guess?”

I want all of you to know…

Every single one of her predictions…

Did not come true.

She said I would have 3 daughters by the age of 30 and that I’d be a single mom.

I told her, “Yeah? But… I don’t see myself ever having kids. I don’t think that’s what I want…”

On that note, I’ll have you all know, I am already into my thirties and still feel that way.

I have 0 kids and 4 pets, of which, all are boys. And, I’m definitely not single. Soooooo yeah.

I enjoy doing tarot, but I think predictions to where you tell someone a very particular life event is going to happen is so silly. (Obviously none of it is “real.”)

BUT, for me, I do card readings for myself because it acts as a prompt and forces me to think about the things I have going on.

I have a tendency to try to avoid certain circumstances and distract myself, so that’s a good compromise. It gives me a different perspective in how to deal with things.

Has anyone else had a palm or tarot reading done before?
