The #SLSO is doing Florence Price’s First Symphony this season; it was the first full symphony by a Black woman to be played by a major American orchestra when it premiered with the Chicago Symphony in 1933. They played the third movement “Juba Dance”, which was fantastic. #ArtHill #ForestPark
