Do weather specialists believe their own weather predictions?

I have a humorous image in my mind of them being aware of a 10% probability of rain and bringing enough umbrellas for everyone just in case.

(This is probably not actually a thing they do).

So in honor of the one day of the year where us #meteorologists and trained weather #forecasters are pushed aside so some critter can see if there's a need for #sunglasses today, here's my take on how well one #Wisconsin #groundhog has done for the #Northland the past decade.

Overall, I'm fine with seeing some #folklore like this live in with predicting the #weather, whether it's right or not.
