Earlier report from September mentions 48 fatalities, with 25 of them resulting in CPS being notified for possible criminal charges against driver (who must have survived the #crash - dead people can't be put up before crown/magistrates #Court , incidents like this are usually mentioned at HM Coroner inquests at a later date)
So already 10 further in just a couple of months, which is rather a lot ( #Suffolk usually has less than half the body count)
4 of these deaths are from #Colchester #RTC earlier in the year where #EssexUniversity students crashed their #FordFocus ST into a building due to #alcohol rather than #drugs (but still completely avoidable)

The last of its kind. When Ford ends the production of Focus later this year, there will be no vehicles shaped like proper cars available in their portfolio.
You wouldn't drive a "high chair" SUV in a rally. Similarly, I wouldn't want to drive to the summer cottage in Finland with a random blob on 4 wheels.
This is the ideal car body. You masses may not buy it anymore, but this is what peak performance looks like.

My 2010 Ford Focus SE surpassed 200,000 miles last night. This is my second Focus, both manual. I got the first in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where I figured the stick shift would be fun and necessary on twisty mountain roads. Since cars are so expensive nowadays, I decided when it hit 150k to keep putting money into upkeep and replacement of worn-out parts rather than carry a car note. It's worked out fine so far. I'll keep driving it until it crumbles into dust.

@dzedus @toms ir ir #Tiguan "parketnieks", bet man, izvērtējot vēl dziļāk vajadzības un nākotnes perspektīvas, neko citu izrādās nevajadzēja (neesmu lauksaimnieks) - tikai kaut ko, kas augstāks par blakus stāvošo #FordFocus un #4x4. Nebraukšu pa arumiem, bezceļiem, dziļām meža takām,..
(un ir dīvaina sajūta, ka ir 2 auto pagalmā) -
@toms es tikko tam izgāju cauri. Pabraukāju ar #Navara, #Hilux, nesanāca ar #Amarok. Kad bija jau pirkšanas brīdis, sapratu, ka man tādu nevajag. Atgriezos pie džipiem, #Xtrail (ar ko visa sāga sākās, jo laukos vajag augstāku auto), #RAV4,...
Tagad ir #Tiguan. Nav nemaz tik mazs, izrādās ekonomiskāks kā rēķinājos. Ir arī trūkumi.
Bet tā, mans pirmais dīzeļauto blakus esošajam gāze/benzīns #FordFocus. -
