Today is my 3rd and final day at #ForbiddenWorlds #Film #Festival on #bristol.
Have reached the 48hour watchers mark. I haven't seen daylight for days (so it feels). I have eaten little but carbs (easier to take a tub of pasta and accept that it will get warm, rather than a gorgeous salad). I have hardly moved for hours apart from to clamber up and down the #Imax steps.
But I am loving it! It is a brilliantly curated festival with (mostly) very chill folks.
Definitely one to do again...
And the highlight on today's agenda? Hmm.. Either 1953 Invaders from Mars or John Carpenter's 1976 Assault on Precinct 13.
Once again, light tooting over the day - whatever normal is will resume tomorrow!

#KingKong (1933 version) just blew me away at the #ForbiddenWorlds #FilmFestival.
I have seen it once before at home. This literally was a new level. Technically brilliant and thrillingly told.
Amazing!

Oh my that was awesome! Fabulous action sequences, fun dialogue and ridiculous car chases.

Is it #QueerHorror? Maybe... #Queerness isn't central to the narrative, per se, but the idea of #otherness absolutely is.
Very fun and funny overall, in that late 70s #horror styleee!
