يقدم مشغل الموسيقى المفتوح المصدر Fooyin في إصداره الجديد 0.12 لنظم Linux وBSD مجموعة واسعة من التحسينات الشاملة. يتضمن التحديث نظام تصور مرئي متطور يوفر مؤثرات بصرية وتحليلات صوتية دقيقة، بالإضافة إلى أداة مدمجة لتحويل صيغ الصوت لزيادة التوافق مع الأجهزة المختلفة. كما يدعم المشغل نظام PulseAudio بشكل أصلي، ويوفر خيار إعادة أخذ العينات تلقائياً مع الحفاظ على مسارات قوائم التشغيل، بجانب إصلاحات عديدة تعزز استقرار التطبيق وسهولة استخدامه.

Ja, der Desktop meines alten Acer-Schätzchens sieht fast genau aus wie die Tage. Aber unter de Haube ist alles neu. Man beachte das Menü-Logo. :-)

Hier haben wir #Manjaro #XFCE bei Arbeit. #SparkyLinux war nett, aber das Bessere ist der Feind des Guten. Und ich habe nun mal eine Schwäche für #Arch. Schon des mit #yay, #pacseek und #pamac leicht zugänglichen Softwareangebots wegen.

#Fooyin hier zu installieren, war eine Sache von Sekunden, unter #Sparky (#Debian) leider wie berichtet ein Graus. Mag ein spezieller Fall gewesen sein, aber sei's drum.

Egal. Nun ist wieder alles so wie ich es gern habe. Nur noch schnell den #Server per #NFS ins Boot holen und ein paar hilfreiche Links setzen.

Dann ist auch der 16 Jahre alte #Travelmate #7740G wieder ein vollwertiges Mitglied meiner Rechnerfamilie. 🤓

Ich mache jetzt seit einiger Zeit die deutsche Übersetzung für fooyin und finde es super spannend, wie schnell es sich zu einer echten Konkurrenz für foobar2000 entwickelt.

Durch die Übersetzung bekomme ich alle neuen Plugins oder Einstellungsmöglichkeiten mit und ich bin echt beeindruckt!
Und im Gegensatz zu foobar2000 läuft es auch nativ auf Linux und ist open source

Das ist wie Foobar2000, aber Open Source und läuft auch auf Linux :)

Ich kümmere mich seit einiger Zeit um die deutsche Übersetzung und überlege gerade, wie ich sowas wie "Owner" übersetzen sollte. Am besten gefällt mir das Entgendern nach Phettberg ("Besitzy"), was denkt ihr?

Es kommt immer mehr an Foobar2000 ran, läuft aber auch ohne Wine auf Linux, was ich sehr cool finde!

Как-то так вышло, что свалил со стримингов. Настроил интерфейс #fooyin под себя и кайфую. Не хватает crossfade и/или automix ;w;

The only thing missing in #fooyin is alternative sources - i.e things like web radios, rtmps streams, even streaming services.

If there was a way to get a #Qobuz backend and library manager widget into the mix, then it would be a powerhouse.

Even a #YouTube source would be nice.

But web radios are in the ROADMAP.md!

My music player of choice has been #Foobar2000 for years now, because of it's versatility and extensibility. I thought it was the one big pill I had to swallow in the full transition.

But #fooyin has now become the #qt alternative to Foobar2000, with the same cutomizable interface and options that it has.

As music managers go, they both are fantastic.

#fooyin really came a long way, there are still a couple missing pieces but at this point it's a worthy alternative to #foobar200. One of the feature I still miss is the "quicksearch for same" option in the context menu, allowing you to jump at the album or artist from a playlist track
