    Victorian Socialists had a door-knock training day today. 240 people across Brunswick and Footscray did some training and then knocked 800 doors over an hour or so.

    It's often slow going because people have a lot to say so it's easy to get in to pretty long conversations.

    We want to knock 500,000 doors in the next 15 weeks across Victoria before the election to talk to people about Socialist politics.

    Next Sunday (16th August at midday) we're doing a huge door-knock across Footscray with hopefully a lot more Socialists and over a few hours.

    If you're interested in getting involved you can register for the event and you will get paired up with someone that has done it before and you can see how it's done.

    Australians, if you're in need of some good uplifting news, I got you:
    back in 2015, Mohamed Semra was racially profiled by an Apple Store in Melbourne, where he was refused entry because he was black.

    He's now Mayor of Maribynong, where that Apple store resides.
