We've got about 70% of the weed whacking done. The industrial wood chipper we rented arrives tomorrow. And we'll be shifting to more understory removal and general thinning of fuels - focused on the North side of camp. We're planning on thinning the understory for a good 50-100' beyond our firebreak on the north side.
There don't appear to be any updates on the #FoothillFire since this morning. And to my knowledge no air resources have been devoted to it. Understandable with the urban impact of the Sandy Fire, but a little frustrating too.

Anyone got intel on the #FoothillFire? I was under the impression that the fire was headed west, but the Go Now evac zone has been extended south and now is about 5 miles from camp.
