This was the worst ramen I'd ever had but I was powering through it.

THEN from the depths a hero arose.

A flavoring oil packet that was under the noodles when I originally took the broth powder and veg packets out.

This just went from a 3/10 to a 9/10 for cup o' noodles.

No idea where you can buy these. We were given a case at a local Asian grocer as a promotion in November.
They are SPICY. And the flavor is wildly complex. That oil was magic.

Glaze is 1/4C miso, Tbsp honey, half thumb fresh ginger peeled and ground, grapefruit zest and a tbsp juice, dash of black pepper. Spread on the top, broil at 450F a few inches from the flame

Kids had leftover #mac and #cheese, and I had some leftover rotisserie #chicken so I fried it in a nonstick with some #milk and #butter. Once it tightened up I added big hands full of #Chihuahua cheese, then in a separate skillet, toasted #Panko, plate, top with #Cholula hot sauce. #Breakfast #Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese

Baked apples with cinammon and sugar. Peeled em, mashed em, and put heavy cream over em 🤤

Highly recommend, you just halve an apple, sugar cinammon, tinfoil tent, bake 45 at 400F. Remove the tin foil, add 1/4C water. Cook 15 more.

Top with sweetened heavy cream or ice cream.

It's Sunday and is allegedly a million degrees outside so I decided to make butter chicken the hardcore way... then I looked at the sauce part of the recipe. Now I'm making it the half hardcore way (nice yoghurt/tandoori marinade from scratch, 2 different brands of jarred simmer sauce). Halfcore??

Sometimes I abuse the #vegetarian tag on my #foodtoots because the dishes have meat included but they are not a 'meat dish'.

E.g., Chicken and Potatoes is a meat dish. Having chicken in a soup however is an inclusion, and one that can be easily excluded for a vegetarian alternative. Same with curries.

Havent had a chance to write up the recipe yet.
But after having her third C-section two and a half weeks ago, wife said she wanted to lead dinner tonight.

Tonights dinner saw us re-visiting those canned curry pastes that have been taking up pantry space.

Here's a quick pantry clean-out style curry for a weeknight meal.

The curry is fragrant and spicy with a not-to-hot kick complemented by the fresh sour raita (yogurt sauce).

Topped with flavor packed crunchy potatoes, this was a kid favorite! Oh, and did I mention #Vegetarian ?

Here's my current theory.

- Double Eggs in a nacho tray
- Three Cheese Blend
- Creamy Jalapeno Sauce
- Fresh tomatoes
- Fresh Onions
- One pack Hot Sauce
- One pack Breakfast Salsa
- Sour Cream

Malaysian Brand WingFood's Spicy Korean Fried Chicken Ramen

Too hot, even on level 1. Not enough flavor.
Comes with fried onions, a powder pack, 2 spice packs of increasing heat, and an oil pack that was pretty spicy on its own.

I like heat, but am not a fan of hot for the sake of hot.

Will not buy again, don't recommend.
