  5. I've been trying to figure out what #FontLab 5 does under the title of “Matrix Multiplication”. The #Python docs tell us “Matrix - class to represent planar transformations” and then just say “Matrix(a, b, c, d, e, f) - creates a Matrix and assigns coordinates from float numbers” …
    Now those matrices are supposed to represent transformations somehow. My knowledge from #FontTools says that a “Transform” with six values is xx, xy, yx, yy, dx, dy, with the identity transform being 1, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0.

    What I have seen is really promising and exciting! A lot of automated processes thanks to #FontTools implementation. Like subsetting, trial fonts or #woff2 conversion.
