"Let's Face the Music and Dance" is a song published in 1936 by #IrvingBerlin for the film #FollowTheFleet, where it was introduced by #FredAstaire and featured in a celebrated dance duet with Astaire and #GingerRogers. The #jazz song has also been covered by various artists years following its release, including #NatKingCole, #EllaFitzgerald, #FrankSinatra, #MelTorme, Todd Gordon and others.

In an Astaire-Rogers film, “Follow the Fleet,” it’s Harriet Hilliard who gets the shout out from that 1936 LA Times page as amongst the “Best Performances in Current Pictures”:
“Pleasant new find who can boast an appealing voice. Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers attract with snappy dancing. Randolph Scott and Astrid Allwyn competent.”
