  2. my latest #wikipedia biography, for Theodora "Teddi" Schwartz, a charming Yiddish and English language folk singer from New York City who lived to 103. Her small claim to fame is that she co-translated the Yiddish song Dana Dana into English, where it was sung by Joan Baez and later popularized around the world in many more translations.
    Apparently she was descended from a #klezmer family too, though I'd need to do more research on that.
