"Quinn the Eskimo (The Mighty Quinn)" (or "#TheMightyQuinn (Quinn the #Eskimo)") is a #folkrock song written and first recorded by #BobDylan in 1967 during #TheBasementTapes sessions. The song's first release was in January 1968 as "Mighty Quinn" in a version by the British band #ManfredMann, which became a great success. It has been recorded by a number of performers, often under the "Mighty Quinn" title. The subject of the song is the arrival of Quinn (an Eskimo).

"Do You Believe in Magic" is a song by the Canadian-American #folkrock band #theLovinSpoonful. Written by #JohnSebastian, it was issued as the band's debut single in July 1965. The single peaked at number nine on the #Billboard #Hot100. It later served as the title track of the band's debut album, issued that November. In 1978, #ShaunCassidy reached the Top 40 with his cover version.

#Honk - "Circles In Sand" (20th Century Records, 1973)
My favourite Orange County, CA band of all time. They beat any punker band you wanna point to with a beautifully jazz inflected, hippie-as-surf sound. Singer/songwriter #RichardStekol was the nominal leader, but across 3 great albums they showed that every member could write, sing, and play their ass off - including singer #BethFitchetWood, who still performs these songs around Laguna Beach today.
