A very brave soul parked a #Himo #Z20 #eBike at the #bicycleRack in the basement of the mall.

I guess the 3 #bikeLocks are enough assurance for the owner.

One lock for the rear wheel, one to lock the front wheel to the rack, and a long coily one for the stem.

Not sure about that third lock though... 🤔

I had to go back to the #bike vendor for help with a deformed piece in the lock on my #FoldingBike's handlebar post. Had lunch there too while waiting. 😋🍝☕

The guys from Friday's get-together were so eager to help fold my bike (and load it in the car so we could move to another place). They forced the lock open without holding up the little release thingy. 😳

Fortunately it's fixable. And the vendor did the repair for free.

My average* speed according to the display on my #bike is around 11 or 12kph. But realistically*, for traveling anywhere, I'd say it's only about 9kph -- with all the obstacles, intersections and stoplights.

Some people do #commute that distance (or more) by bike. Some pedal all the way, some do bi-modal transport with #FoldableBikes.

Montreal is a gorgeous place. You're very fortunate. 😃

Ooh... Citizen #Bikes! For a long time I dreamed of having a Barcelona. 😄🚲 But I can't imagine ordering a bike from overseas. Who knows how much customs here will charge me for bringing that into the country.

I've seen taller/bigger-than-average adults using #foldies with 20" wheels. They say it takes a bit getting used to, but they love it.

If you plan on pedaling to the train station, take the train, getting on a bus, pedaling again... 😃👍

Need more practice riding my li'l 16" #bike. Then one of the things that will need to be fixed/changed next is the front tire. Didn't notice at the time of purchase that the front tire is neither* Schraeder nor Presta. 🤦‍♀️

Not all #foldies can roll* folded. Mine can't. Not easily anyway. Some fold just for loading onto a vehicle.

Foldable #bikes that easily roll anywhere cost a lot -- double the cost of my sturdy #MTB. 🤪

And not everyone can do small wheels. I'm bad at it. Embarrassingly wobbly -- me, not the bike. 😕 The old 16" 🚲 now mostly stays at home. It's safer, more comfy and less wobbly for me to ride the 26" 🚲

Hoping my riding improves some more. Maybe then I'll be good on the 16".

I was hanging out at a gathering of #foldies. This ICE (Inspired #Cycle Engineering) #PedalAssist #trike with a giant internal hub came. Apparently, it folds too! 😳

Yup! Got the magnets added. Turns out he didn't need to do any welding. Even better. 👍 The magnets aren't as strong as I expected, but still good. 👌

Now my el cheapo Japan surplus #bike can fold without the center of the wheels banging together. I still use a strap to keep it steady together because I'll be pushing my folded bike from the handlebar. Just a slight twist of it and the magnets will separate.

Money well-spent. 👍

I got my first bike brand new. Branded. #samebike #bicycle After I bought it I learned that our metro trains allow #foldies but only up to 20" wheels. My "one bike can't rule them all". 🤷‍♀️ Planning on getting a Japan* surplus* bike later* for bi-/multi-modal city commutes. Already asked other bike owners and they only had good things to say about their #Japanese #bikes.
