Yet again I implore you to call me a paranoid cynic, particularly insistantly this time, because if it turns out that President Zelensky has been telling porkies and it IS official policy to store munitions in residential areas, I shall be very disappointed.
Mainly because it would give the Ruskies some level of legitimacy in their claims to be attacking military targets whenever they kill a load of civilians. Let's hope it WAS a rogue supplier, as stated.

NBC producer with family in Caracas reports they've all confirmed the bombings.
They also report they're able to match up different videos, showing the same events. They seem to be anticipating fakes and are taking at least some countermeasures, so that's good.

Bombing started around 2am, last detonations that NBC's associate heard in the capital was around 3:45am-ish, but she was still hearing airplanes until around 4am.

I think it’s easy to forget a couple of things:
- we are not representative of the body politic, the majority of which is made up of low-information voters who are tuned out until after July 4th, or Labor Day of an election year, at best
- inflation has eaten up many gains, life is expensive, and wages are stagnant, making the quality life worse

The most die-hard #American partisans have to acknowledge they are not better off than they were 4 years ago, and that is causing all sorts of #CognitiveDissonance.
Partly due to the #FogOfWar to remember an accurate status of *what was happening* 4 years ago.
