Is my life perfect? Absolutely not. Am I always happy? Also no. Optimism and positivity are a choice I make each day, based on many years of cultivating it, out of necessity. It's part of my own healing journey from a multitude of things, and part of my toolkit for dealing with my own mental illness, disability etc. In saying that, if most of my posts are too much for you, I get it, and you're of course welcome to unfollow. I certainly won't be offended. That's the joy of the fediverse. We can curate our own timelines and choose what we want to see, and post about🥰

Things I'm grateful for today:

Having a home, where I can rest as I deal with yet more med side effects.

Low fibro pain so at least I can sleep as much as I need.

Lentil curry and rice that I prepared in bulk so I don't need to cook today.

My loves, making me laugh and supporting me in this journey.

Three good things today:

Wedding planning

Dealing with an issue with kindness and diplomacy rather than being angry(it would have been justifiable to be angry, but I went the kind and diplomatic route instead)

Grocery shopping-a big deal given my struggle to leave the house has increased lately. Success!😁
