  6. The Sydney Algorithms and Theory of Computing (SACT) group at #USyd 🇦🇺 has a number of postdoc positions available (2+ years) in all areas of TCS, with one focusing on streaming and one on planning and synthesis. Expected start mid- or end 2026.

    The spreadsheet collating job openings in Theoretical CS will be made available to attendees (and online), to help graduating students and junior researchers.

  8. Attending #FOCS2025, or Theoretical CS (or adjacent) student in Australasia 🌏? On Dec 11-13, at #USyd, we will have a "Celebration of Theoretical CS" mentoring+research workshop. Amazing speakers, poster session, hike!

  9. Update: we extended the deadline, and childcare support for #FOCS2025 will be allocated on a rolling basis to attendees who need it (based on available remaining funds).

  11. The workshops for #FOCS2025 have been announced! They will take place on the first day of the conference, December 14 (Sunday), over 3 parallel sessions.

  12. ⏰ The #FOCS2025 🧑‍🎓 travel support application and 👶 childcare support applications are both due in ~25h!

    The former is open to all students and postdocs (not necessarily authors of a paper). The latter provides financial support (to be used in any childcare-related way) to conference attendees!
